You need to contact your nearest Honda dealer. They will need the vehicle's VIN number plus proof of your ID and proof of vehicle ownership.

The dealer may charge for providing the information, but most will provide it for free upon request to regular customers or if you're buying spare parts or have booked the car in with them for other work. If they wish to charge, then politely remind them that there are other dealers you can take your custom to.

You may also wish to search all of the documents you got with your car: the code is often printed or written somewhere (often in the service record) and some folks write the code on the inside of their glovebox.

SOURCE: Honda Odyssey dvd player not working after having battery jumped

If you disconnect your battery for an hour and then reconnect, the dvd will just pop right out. This happened to us, Honda did not know how to fix it and they wanted me to pay $400 for a new one. But while they were trying to figure it out they were sticking screwdrivers and pens into it and have now broken the whole system and refuse to pay for it.

I disconnected battery and antenna for 2003 acura tl but code wont take

on the TL - 5 digit code for the radio; 4 for navi; numbers are typically on a sticker on the side of the glovebox (nearest radio) or rear truck arm (great security acura?). Need to unplug the antenna and then put in the code, reconnect the antenna and your back in business. search the net to learn how to access the back of the radio. typically needed after power is lost to the vehicle, new battery installed, etc.

My 06 Pontiac G6 won't start. The battery still works, the radio and windows still work but I can't get it to turn over. What's wrong with my car?

Probably the anti theft security system. Does your key say PK3 on the shaft? try a different key.

This link explains the problem, but im sorry i have no solution for you http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

The wrong code for the radio was entered in for my 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport and the radio says OFF, how do I reset the radio to say CODE, so I can put in the correct code?

Not sure if this will work but if you have a battery replaced in your car you usually need to reprogram your radio code. try disconnecting your battery for a bit, connecting it & then see if it asked you for the code when you turn it on. Then put the right code in. I hope that works. it would be worth a try anyway. hope this helps and good luck.

I tried to turn on the radio and it says Code. I just had a new battery put in the car today. Can you help me with the Code?

Need the code for the radio from the dealer. Make sure you have proof of ownership when you visit them.

When you disconnect the battery the radio locks. This is to prevent theft of radio.

If it is saying code 2, thats not a code to input anything. Its a error code for a hardware malfunction.

Problems with radio code

Your radio is now in "off" mode. To get it back to "code" mode you need to have power to the radio for 2 hours. This can be accomplished by either driving the car for 2 hours, or putting the key into position 1 on the ignition, but make sure to turn off the fan as it will drain the battery in 2 hours. Once you have "code" back you can enter the 4 digit radio code. Caution, many of these radios have been replaced so the code that the dealer gives you may be wrong. If entered and it comes back "EEEEEE" that means it is the wrong code. The radio must be pulled and get the factory serial number from the top of the unit.

Hope this helps!
