I got emissions and tires balanced and now my speedometer is climbing up as im driving telling me that im going alot faster than i am on a 2004 buick lesabre custom

The Buick LaSabre custom is a 3800, I think. Your speedometor may very well be correct! Take it out on the highway and time yourself between mile markers. Those cars are very fast; if you got a good tire balance you may be going faster than it feels since the car is smoother riding now.

My speedometer isn't working on Jeep Grand Cherokee, the hands aren't spinning and is beneath the rubber peg

Disconnect the posative terminal then touch the terminal to the posative a few times quickly it will reset your odometer needle to above the resting pin. This happens because you moved your posative terminal and the needles spun around and sat on the wrong side of the pin.

The speedometer bounces all over and i cant tell how fast i'm going

The speedometer cable needs to be oiled it is hanging inside of housing and when it comes loose it makes the speedometer jump up and down from cable hanging up inside of housing.

Speedometer is not working. cant tell how fast im going

Hello! krazy rez!

The CHEAPEST & EASIEST solution to your problem is going to walmart and buying a GPS. This happened to me I was going to spend more money on getting it fixed and I was to afraid to go in and fix it myself for fear of messing anything else up. The GPS will tell you the current speed you're going aswell as the posted speed limit. it will alert you when you are speeding also.

My speedometer is not working, what could be the problem, what needs to be done

May be the speedometer cable is broken or possibly a fuse.

The speedometer no longer functions

This is an easy fix. Turn the key off. Press and hold the trip odometer reset button. Hold it until you see the odometer light up and it will say "soF" and a number. When you see this then let the trip odometer button go. The cluster will enter into a self test where all the lights come on and all of the gauges sweep. When the self test is complete then your speedometer will be back on the correct side of the peg and will work again.

Speedometer reads to fast

the only way the speedometer will read wrong is if you dont have the same size tires that came on the car be the factory, look on the the side of the door for the sticker with the chart for tire size.
