I also have a dodge miranda. I about went crazy trying to fix it. I then found out that my car was a recall. You might want to check that out.

2 months ago I had my alternator and battery replaced, now out of nowhere my battery light started to flicker on every time I accelerated then it goes off, I don't know whats wrong can you help?

The engine is rubber mounted and so will move about during acceleration. It could be the movement has caused loosening of one of the alternator terminals or perhaps the alternator wiring was badly routed and some sharp edge has worn through the insulation.

I suggest starting with a visual inspection.

What causes a rattling noise in my engine when i hit the accelerator?

"Rattling" is normally due to one of two things:
  1. On heavy acceleration, rattling is usually due to low octane fuel.
  2. If at all times, it can be due to low oil pressure.

Rattling can also occur if the engine timing is way out specs. This will normally be accompanied by a substantial loss of power on acceleration.

02 Dodge Durango-rattling valves, abs & brake light off and on

Check vacuum lines in area of master cylinder as well as fluid level. As far as valves rattling, are referring to engine knock upon acceleration? Have knock sensor checked and/or replaced.
