1987 Chevrolet V20 purchase

Take off the door skin a couple screws in the handle and elbow pad then some plastic clips around the edges anad then it just slips over the top of the door dont forget to unscrew the door lock button. then you will see at the bottom of the door a few nuts to take off. I dont remember if you need to take the glass out or not.

Hi. Actually this is not a bad job provided that you purchase the motor and track assembly as opposed to the motor alone. Any auto parts store will have what you need. You begin by removing the interior door panel. If you break a few of the clips do not dispair as all auto parts stores carry them. The parts you need are all model specific, including the glass. That said, also call your insurance company as most folks have complete glass coverage. J.

It should be almost under the drivers seat attatched to the inside of the frame rail.

If you purchase a repair manual it will contain the wiring diagram. Your local auto parts store sells these books. They may have to order the one you need. Also any book store can order what you need.

cheek youre plugs and plug wires four the miss firing depinding if the car spudder before it died could be fule problem cheek the fule pump fule injectors and fule filter if its carb make sher its set rite <is it still turn over or complety ded win you put the key in

check fuel pump relay, breaker or fuse.if all that is good bad pump

Check your fuses and if you have power coming out of switch when it is depressed.if that is ok check to see if you have power and ground back at the brake light sockets.if power is coming out of switch but not back at lights,look for open in wires also the brake light wires run thru the turn signal switch you could have a faulty turn signal switch.

Verify power coming OUT of the switch.
Verify power at the valve.

No power out of switch replace switch.
No power at valve replace wires.
Good power to valve replace valve.
