Question about 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I was wondering if there is a sequence using the key in the lock to disengage the alarm system? I do not have the remote any longer and cannot keep opening the hood to disconnect the battery terminal,etc.,etc., can you help?
There are switches on the door lock cylinders that are supposed to shut the alarm off when you use the key,but they go bad allot. you could try unlocking the passenger door first, since that one usually gets less use and is less likely to go bad. Otherwise you can disconnect the alarm module, it is located behind the glove box.

1. Close the driver side door
2. Use the key to lock then Unlock the door
The alarm should now be reset.

Order a remote from your local dealer or remove the alarm from truck and replace with newer one
