Sounds like you are running rich try and change the plugs to better quality to burn excess fuel off and higher octane gas

Engine run rough and black smoke coming from tail pipe why?

Go to the wreckers car junk yard and see if you can find another module or buy a new one but yes it sounds faulty... modules are non-serviceable so just get another... Run a code reader just to make sure that it is that module thats faulty

My 2005 gmc canyon just started blowing smoke out tail pipe but it doesnt do it everytime i start it. is this bad?

Possibly a leak in the head gasket. Take out the plugs and see if they are water wet. Run a compression check.

Valve guide seals

Are you saying you have smoke coming out of the tail pipe ? Or is something dripping onto the exhaust pipe and burning ?
If the smoke is coming out of the tail pipe, is it blue, white, or black ?

BLACK SMOKE AND MY TAIL PIPE IT IS MIXED WITH OIL

If you are adding oil to the engine I would say the rings or valve guides are worn out. Could also be a problem with the PCV valve.
Black smoke is usually too much fuel, blue smoke is usually burning oil.

My 2004 ford 450 superduty deisal wont start in the mornings and when it cranks over black smoke comes out the tail pipe

If it finally starts after a lot of cranking, I'd have a look at the glow plugs. If they've not been changed since the truck was built, they've probably come to the end of their life.

My car use to start with just a bump of the key, now i have to give it a little gas to start it and it has black smoke coming from the tail pipe

The black smoke is over fueling probably just comming from giving it a little gas. A good service should bring it back to normal
