This usually refers to an issue with shock absorbers. When the vehicle bounces excessively it makes level sensor readings erratic and stores an associated trouble code.

To confirm the exact diagnosis, you need to take the car to the dealer. As of now if it is not posing any driveability issue, it is OK to drive but it is very much prudent to get it fixed as soon as possible.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

How to set headlights ?Please explain how to ?

there are adjuster screws above and to the side of the headlight unit . turn thes euntil the lights are aligned , to do this succesfully you will need a flat level surface to park on and a blank wall with the height marked for the headlight to be aimed at , this is not as easy as it sounds , i would suggest taking it to a repair shop as only takes a few minutes with the right equipment so will cost very little , if you want to do your self you will need a workshop manual to give you the required height and distance etc good luck

My lights are not see properly if i dip my lights i can only see in a distance of 5mitres but if i beam mylights i can see a distance of 9 to 10 mitres its a toyota corolla ae91 please help me

Your headlights need aiming correctly. There are screws next to the headlight the achieve this . Park the car on level ground about 2 meters (6feet) from a solid wall and turn the lights on to high beam. You will see the centre of the beam measure the height from the floor to the center of the headlight and mark this on the wall directly in front of the vehicle. The center of the beam has to be adjusted to to this point.Don't worry about low as the beam for low is set by the bulb and is correctly positioned in relation to high at all times

Adjusting bi-xenon headlights on Volvo S40

This guys don't know what they are talking about. If you have self leveling head lights and they are way out of alignment, yes there is adjustment screws but those mess with a different light bulb (daytime running light) instead of the main bulb alignment.

So what is a man to do? go to the dealer and have them adjust them for you. Believe it or not everytime you get an aliment done you have to recalibrate your headlights because they change the way the vehicle sits. Do it enough times and the headlight will go out of wack (because of the self leveling function)

In other words, they headlights are adjusted by means of a Computer. You could do it your self but you have to buy the DICE VIDA adjustment tool and the proper software from Volvo. Not cheap, just go to the dealership.

Have you had the truck setup on the computer since the new front springs? It may need levelling off manually via the computer to adjust the height.

Headlight level warning

check your height sensor on your suspension. theres 4 sensors that look at ride height for the headlights to adjust when going up and down hills. you may have bent one when working on the car.

H Have some word on the computer monitor for my car (SUSPEN LEVELING) I don't know what it's mean , what's the problem in my car

Your car has suspension leveling. Shocks that automatically adjust the rear level of your car to the weight you have in it, and there appears to be a probelm with it.
