Really just maybe a new air filter. Lube all your grease fittings under the car. Check your alignment as well. All this could be done under 100 dollars. 20,000 miles is really not that much. As far as the speed, there are a few things that can cause it not to work. A fuse or a loose wire could happen. With just 20,000 miles, it should be working. Is it not working?
They should have been able to track this. Look at all the fuses, particulary the ones listed PCM/ECM, gauges. The best thing to do is pull each one to determine it's integrity. Replace as necessary. Great car and happy new year.
I put a new one in my 92 Diablo, had trouble with part #s. So what I did was called the manufacturer, its a Sanden 7 piston, they are all the same as long as you get the correct pully on it. Then you need to change the head off the back, just like 6 bolts, then all the plumbing is correct. That way its only a couple of hundred bucks as opposed to 1500 from lambo.
