Check your buttons lift centerconsole look for bare wires cap or tape up. get buttons at junk yard or try to fix yours get goo gone open switches with small flat head clean springs and ball bearing. be gentle plastic insides break easy these switches break all the tim e go to junk yard and stock your pockets full

First the sensor in the rear gearbox may be bad or corroded for sensing wheel speed. Also the engine wiring harness may be falling apart. From 1991-1995 the US made MB use biodegradable material on the wiring. When the insulation cracks you get shorts in the system. The same wires are in your EHA on the air inlet area. Check and replace as needed.

remove center console lower wood and switches, remove ash tray, remove 2 screws to remove ash tray unit. Pop off face of radio, push in plastic tabs holding radio in console and pull unit out.

most likely dirty switches or bad fuses. Try rotating fuses and then try moving them again. Corrosion on the fuses cause "gremlins" in the system. If not find a junkyard and pull out a set of used switches or try autohausaz.com for new replacements.
