Question about Mini Cooper
One of the most common causes of electronic problems i have found is the battery losing capacity. How old is the battery? Most batteries are designed to last around 4-5 years. After this range, the battery will start to fail and will lack the ability to start the car, and is some cases, especially in newer cars, the ability to power different accessories. In one of my cars, a Corolla, the old battery just caused the engine. In my other car, a town and country, all of the electronics would sputter,e.i. the tachometer and speedometer would flicker violently. If the battery is old, or you are not sure of its age, take it to a garage or autopart store like Autozone and have its capacity checked. They will usually do this for free. If the battery is new, or the capacity check showed that the battery is fine, i dont really have any other advice, but atleast you know its not the battery. Anyways, i hope this helps in some way. The best of luck...
