Question about 1992 Isuzu Rodeo

1 Answer

I just bought a 92 Rodeo for my son and there seems to be something wrong with the electrical wiring for the left turn signal. Hazards work, right turn signal works, and the fuse is good but left turn signal will not work.

2006 Jeep Liberty , hazard lights not working turn signals out too. turn signals are fused separate left om one fuse right on another, any ideas

You need to check the power with an electrical screwdriver. Start with the turn signals. Did the bulbs blow.? If so there is a serious electric fault and it will get worse. Has the jeep been through flooding? Thearth connections may be damp. You may need to use a hair dryer to fix them.

Right turn signals work but left signals don't work

Front right and rear right are on a different circuit than the left front an left rear. Locate the Flasher control module behind dash. With key in RUN position check for pulsing battery voltage on the Green/white wire coming out of the flasher control module electrical connector. If no battery voltage, check for battery voltage coming into the flasher from the turn signal switch on the white/red wire. Left turn input is on the white/black wire. If not battery voltage on white/red, but voltage on white/black when turning left, then the turn signal switch is bad

I have a 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8s and my left turn signal and my hazards will not work when running lights are on but the right signal works fine, also the left turn signal indicator in the dash is on

You have a bad ground on the left side. Use a jumper wire on the ground wire near the socket on the left side. If the lights start to work normally than trace the ground wire back to its body connection and repair

1988 jeep comanche wiring

drove mine to the ends of the earth,
there are 4 books,
big main , engine, and one for trans, no PDFs back then so, none sold. just paper books.
its and old car, very old, not too many left run 1988
with that nasty French REniX EFI system/.end rant
I had the 1988 XJ too, a pair of jeeps. then....

i can see your wiring is all messed up
and grounds.

got a voltmeter,
if not only guessing and wire inspections may work
ever consider get a sparks guy to fix it? He can and easy.
I promise.
for me to teach you electrics in this box, is over the top hard.

id have inspected all those wires, every inch
and #1 is trailer wiring hacks at the rear.
the tails are not tails
if you its Parking lamp after the front parking lamps or side markers can not be called TAIL,but yes, some fuses are still using the old 1884 now TRAIL name
check fuses yet, means test them ones that look good test.
using a METER.

.
.i see there are shorts on the KEY switch IGN out pin
for sure.!! radio is off key OUT and off.
or that wires IS SHORTED
harness messed up near steering/cluster,big time.

I turn the left signal light on and it works fine, I turn the right signal on and the vehicle right blicks, but the left trailer blinks. All brake lights work. What is wrong? Ground connects are good

Who installed the wiring on the vehicle ( dealer, self etc.)
Was trailer wiring pre installed or someone else did it
How old is the trailer?
it seems that there is a bad connection on the vehicles wiring. perhaps wrong part was used or connection from vehicle right turn- to wiring harness is not hooked on properly. Depending on how confortable you feel, test to see if there is proper electrical current flowing to the wiring harness ( right turn, left turn, brakes, headlights) you should be able to detect which area on the harness does not get power when the vehicles right blinker is on. It is not too complicated, just requires deductive reasoning and a tester ( about $5 at Kragens) No harm will come to your vehicle's electrical system by doing this; worst case scenario: you blow a fuse.
If vehicle is working properly, it will be a bad connection on trailer

My toyota 92 pickup truck turn signals don't work;

Try changing out your turn signal flasher.it might be under your dash by your fuse box. Some trucks have two one for turn signals one for 4 way flashers.By all means check the fuse first.

'94 Rodeo right turn signals not working unless using hazards

sounds like a switch problem in the steering colum, could be a bad switch could be a loose connection. my advice would be to purchase a auto repair manual for you vehicle for detailed instruction on testing and/or replacing the switch.

Flasher works, hazards work, but when i turn on my turn signal the lights dont blink. They do when i turn the hazards on though. What is the problem here?

This seems to be a common problem. I bought mine from my uncle and had this issue. Your going to have to pull the steering wheel off and clean the contacts inside the column. Its not hard, just make sure you have the wheels straight so you put the wheel back on straight, and put all the parts back in the housing. Takes 1 or 2 hours.
