Question about Buick Regal
Way too many things without knowing more about your car. Most cars for the last 15 years have a pump built into the gas tank. The pump is electric and you can check to see if you have blown a fuse. If you find the fuse is ok, try to check to see if you have electricity going to the pump by turning the key to the one position and use a tester to see if the "hot" wire has 12 volts. If not the problem is electrical somewhere between the ignition switch and the pump. That does not usually happen. Another way to see if the pump is working is to take the gas cap off and listen while someone else turns the key on. If the pump is working it will make a whirring sound for about 2 seconds. If that does not happen, the pump is probably bad. You will have to take the tank off and remove the pump. You can not rebuild it, just replace from a parts store or dealership. Count on spending 300 to 400 dollars.
