Yes. It isn't that hard. On alot of vehicles there's a sticker onthe radiator cover that shows how the belt run. If not then your manual should have it. One of your pulleys is the idler pulley. It doesn't operate anything it just keeps tension on the belt. They're usually spring operated so you can pry it down to get slack in the belt to remove it. Then simply reverse the process for putting the new belt on.

Timing chain on 2003 Suzuki XLT when do you change it? I am at 137,00 miles right now.

Most manufactures recommend changing a timing belt at 100k but I've seen them go several hundred thousand miles and no problem. I've also seen them break under 100k. The best maintenance is preventative maintenance or fixing things before they become a problem. I would recommend replacing it if you have the means to do so as you will also be replacing the water pump which is driven off the timing belt (do them together)..

How do I change the rear shocks in my 2003 Suzuki XL7?

You are correct, this is an easy job on this vehicle. Remove the upper and lower shock mounting bolts...Note how the rubber groments are installed, new gromets will come with your new shocks and will need to be installed the same way. Bolt the new shock in place, i prefer to do the top mount first, then secure the bottom mount. Do not over tighten and split the gromets.
Shocks should always be replaced in pairs...
Monroe or KYB make a very good product... i would not recommend a Gabriel shock.
Good luck...i hope this helps, please take time to rate me a fixya.

05 XL-7 I changed my old belts (with no squeaking) now one of the new belts squeaks loud, mostly in the morning when neighbors can hear and give dirty looks, like "get a new belt you incompetent grease...

Take a bar of soap at touch it on the side of belt when it is running. Becareful!!! or spray some WD40 on it. Should stop it. If not it must be something wrong with whatever it is running. If that is a serpentine belt spray it. Soap is good on v-belts.
