Well I had to replace a Fuse and noticed there were a few empty spaces not containg fuses so I bought extra ones, when I replaced the one, I got into my car and started it up but it was stuck in lock mode and wouldn't go into gear to drive it or anything else?

Fuse panel under dashboard. 2 empty spaces on the right side of the panel that look like they are for relays or breakers. What are they for?

I was told that they could be used to store extra fuses in case one burnt out. If you add something you could maybe use to wire it in.

What goes in the empty slot on this fuse box it is different from the other 4.. its for a 94 ford aspire

I would bet nothing. If there are no contacts in both of the slots then it is an extra space for an option that your car did not come with.

How do I permanently disengage the brake-transaxle shift interlock on a '97 malibu? The fuse and brake lights work fine. Do I take off the console and disconnect something?

It will be in your engine compartment. It will be a black box, pull the lid on it. On the inside cover of the lid it will tell you what each fuse is for. Find the fuse that says something to do with rear brake lights. When you replace the fuse make sure it it the exact same size, like replace a 5amp fuse with another 5 amp fuse. Also when you look on the inside cover of the fuse box lid there should be a couple empty spaces with fuses in them, these are spare fuses for your car. You can use one of these but just make sure to replace it.

Hi I own a Saturn SL1 2000 Series and I was wondering if you were checking to see if the fan will turn on. Will you be able to see it turn when you have the hood up? And for the Fuse box I noticed some of...

Yes,you will be able to see the fan on when the engine requires it.The fuse in upside down is no problem either. It does not matter.Good luck! Greg Also with the fuses, sometimes there will be one or two empty holes. It is normal as the same box is used on several different models and the other models may use ones that you don't and also have empty spaces where yours has a fuse.

Blinker stopped working, but the hazard lights still work - I think it's a blown fuse but how and where do I fix the fuse

There is 2 different flashers. One flasher for the turn signals and one flasher for the hazards. If you turn on the turn signals and the turn indicator on the dash lights up but doesn't blink, then most likely it is the turn signal flasher that is bad. Good luck.
