A few issues drove me mad. The boot opens and closes electrically. And extremely slowly. And if it touches the top of your suitcase on its way down, and it will because there’s the tonneau cover in there as well, it’ll crawl back up to the top again. People have arms, Bentley. And we don’t mind using them. Likewise, if you want to let someone in the back, the front seats slide forward as though they’re being pulled along by a koala. And while it may have seemed like a good idea when the computer geek said the radio could present drivers with a choice of all the stations in range, it wasn’t. Because the other morning it took 20 minutes to find Radio 2. The worst thing about this car, though, is hard to put my finger on. Maybe it’s the lack of sportiness. Maybe it’s the size. Maybe it’s the footballer ostentation or the pale blue paintwork that had been teamed with a cream leather interior.

Have no curent to lamp plug

Burned or broken wire somewhere in the harness. Honestly, if you know the SOCKET to be good, the very best approach to repairing that problem is simply to run a 12-gauge wire from the known-good lamp socket wire to the dead socket wire. (Headlights always operate in common anyway, so there is no downside.)

Clear trouble codes on dash display

usually disconnecting the negitive terminal on the battery for 30 seconds or so ..downside is you will have to reset saved radio stations and clock .. if its a car like a dodge stratus or Concorde where you have to take one of the front wheels ( depending what side the battery is on ) off to get to the panel in the fenderwell that the battery is behind .. auto zone has a free thing where they connect a code reader to tell you the trouble code number.. but if you ask they may erase the codes so the lights will go out .. if not then disconnecting the negitive terminal is the other option

My tailgate wont open nissan armada

On the inside of the hatch door to the left of the handle is a little detachable door. Take that door off and inside is a little white plastic lever. Push the lever down and the door handle opener will work again. However, I am not sure why it isn't unlocking when you send the request from the key chain.... 1 downside is that it will keep getting shifted up so it is not a permenant fix. I taped the white plastic part down, but then the hatch NEVER locks and is always able to be open. The alarm will go off if it is opened when all of the other doors are locked, but it is still not a permenant fix. Hope this helps...

I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix se. Both the drivers side windows will not go up/down. I removed the rear door panel of both doors and the small metal cable has come off. Is there a diagram or a fix to...

I had a problem similar to this but mine was in a GT and they would just work when they wanted to. I just had all the wires cut leading to the front passenger seat, back driver seat, and back passenger seat. And left the wires on the main. They all work perfect now. But the downside is that the driver is the only one who can put the windows down. (Which isn't always a bad thing) Hope I could help!

The downside is of course, no heat, or warm air to defrost/defog windshield. Changing a heater core is generally a labor intensive job. If you decide to do it yourself, invest in a good manual, or online source so you know how to get it out in step by step process. I would suggest checking alldata diy site, which cost is in the upper $20 range for 1 yr access to your vehicles repair info. You can print up any sections you want to bring outside to work on the vehicle. Good luck.

2003 x-type sport suspension is chewing up inside of rear tires what can i do? already replaced shocks, swaybar links & bushings

Your best bet is to break down and go to a good repair shop for a 4 wheel alignment. Most shops give a flat rate on alignments which means you will pay one price regardless of time it takes. Most modern cars have alignment adlustments on the rear suspension as well as front. Also certain vehicles are very sensitive to tire rotations.Make sure you don't exceed manufactures mile recomendations on rotations.Having it done at the proper times can in some cases double tire life.

Check in your owner's manual packet. In my Audi, there was a supplemental guidebook for the audio system, and the security code was on a card in that packet. If it's not in there, you can go to the dealership with the car to get it - they can look it up based on the VIN of the vehicle.

You'll need the title to the vehicle (to prove it's your car), photo ID (to match you to the name on the title), and the car itself. The dealer will then put the code in for you (make sure they give you the code written down, and show you how to enter it for the next time you need it). The downside to this is that they'll probably charge you labor for doing this.

Wiper only works upside down.

The entire arm assembly will have to be loosened up and moved around so the it will work properly again. If you are not sure how to do this just go to any autozone store where the clerks are all techies. They will show you what to do, loan you the necessary tools and if you are nice, may even do the adjustment for you.

Pro & con

Upside Sleek and dignified design inside and out, pleasing blend of ride and handling, powerful V8 engines, sophisticated safety features, all-wheel drive available on both sedans and wagons. Downside More expensive than competitors, confusing control layout, electronically controlled brakes lack progressive feel. What's New for 2007 Most of the changes to the 2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class relate to engine upgrades. Mercedes' AMG division has renamed last year's E55 AMG as the E63 AMG in light of its more powerful 507-hp V8 engine.
