SOURCE: 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, no power at circuit breaker for power windows

That circuit breaker only has power with the ignition switch in the "ON" position. It does not have power in the ACC, START or OFF positions. The ORANGE wire leading from the ignition switch Pin "C" delivers the power to the Right Instrument Panel Junction Block where the window circuit breaker is located.

Where is the fuse for the electric windows

Usually power windows use a circuit breaker. Your owners manual should tell you which fuse and circuit breaker does what. Sometimes the fuse box cover will have a legend that tells you which fuse does what.
I can't look up wiring diagram w/o year--make--model. My database only covers vehicles sold in the US.

Where is the window relay switch located for 1996 pontiac bonneville

If you are talking about the actual relay, it is under the hood or back seat in the fuse box. You can use the owner's manual or the lid of the fuse box to locate the exact relay. I vaguely remember something along the line of some manuals referring to the driver's window switch as the "relay switch" all the windows get their power from the driver's window switch so if the that driver switch is acting up then the one or all of the other windows won't work. Pontiac was pretty bad with interior and electrical, I know the window motors were notorious for going bad and the regulators breaking because the motor would just slam hard when it reached the bottom.

Where is the window relay switch located on a 1996 Pontiac Bonneville?

If the sun roof works, the problem isn't circuit breaker or relay.
I'd get at the wiring harness on hinge side of driver door, probably has a protective covering, pull the covering back so you can see wire colors. Brown is voltage for power windows, black is ground.
According to my database, the sun roof and power windows use the same circuit breaker and relay. Your owners manual should give you the location of circuit breaker and relay, I just looked at your owners manual, it just said sun roof for the relay, but, power windows work off same relay.
If you don't have an owners manual, you can read one for free online, at
You'll have to type in year--make model.

Reset circuit Breakers for 2001 Pontiac Bonneville

The 30amp circuit breaker for the power windows is in the fuse box in the engine compartment.
But it resets itself if it blows. Thats why its a circuit breaker instead of a fuse.
From there the power goes to both front door control modules then to the door switches.

What is the fuse number for the windows on a 1996 Ford Mustang

Hi, download your manual here:

On page 282, it says the power windows are on a 20 amp circuit breaker. This breaker automatically resets itself, so I doubt it is your problem. I don't have the wiring diagram, but if the driver's switch panel has a safety shutoff, then all power goes thru that switch. If the power is not getting there or the switch is bad, then none of the windows will work.

Which fuse on the fuse panel is the one for the power windows i lost the manual

I know thta, for a 2002 Ford Explorer, the 30 amp circuit breaker in location #62 of the power distribution box in the engine compartment is the power window circuit breaker. (unfortunately in the 2002 owner's manuals it is labelled accessory delay ) later years are labelled as the power window circuit breaker.

Hope helped with this. Remember rated this help, good luck.
