This is the overflow tube and if the thermostat is stuck it will cause the engine to get hot. ck thermostat and radiator hoses. When they get old sometime they get soft and will close off and cause the engine to get hot.

2004 chevy trailblazer leak n antifreeze from behind fan

the fan you are referring to is inside the trailblazer on the passenger side behind dash near floor wall? If this is the case it is the heater core and needs to be replaced by a professional. If is is under the hood in the engine compartment it is the water pump in need of replacement? thanks good luck on the heater core..

I have a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer and it appears to be leaking something from the engine. It looks like oil and possibly another leak of coolant?? Any thoughts on what to check?

If you are leaking both oil and antifreeze there is a good chance you will be looking at a costly repair. The reason I say this is because things like this are common on blazers. Your problem is most likely one of two things. Either your intake gaskets are going bad or you are starting to get a bad head gasket. Sorry about the bad news. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

I had a new thermostat and thermostat sensor put in my car and my temp gauge is still showing hot. Help! 2004 Trailblazer

Maybe check if the fans are coming on when the car is at operating temperature. Also, may need a flush and fill of the antifreeze, since it's about 7 years old.

Water leaking into passenger side of floor

This is when the air conditioning is running? The ac evaporator csae drain tube may be plugged The tube is located on the passenger side firewall.Generally I will use a small pick to dislodge debris from the tube being extremely careful not to go into far as the evaprator core may become damaged and develop a leak.

My 2004 Trailblazers AC condensation water is leaking inside on the passenger side instead of draining to outside the vehicle. I assume I have a plugged drain tube? Can anyone assist me in finding this...

if you look on the engine side of the firewall you will see a rubber tube on the passenger side of the vehicle bent at a 90 degree angle that is the drain tube. very carefully try to insert something stiff into tube to see if it is blocked
