My 1994 dodge dakota v8 magnum appears to be leaking what I think is tranny fluid around the front of the engine. Does anyone know what my cause this?

The tranny fluid could be leaking from a line or cooler if coming from the front of the engine. The fluid is usually cooled by the radiator if an automatic transmission and is cooled in the radiator tanks. It may also have an external cooler attached to the front of the radiator area that can also leak

2000 chevy metro leaks transmission fluid

Yea! A Metro owner. Welcome. Well, you have such a big, burly wrap-around engine in there, it's gonna be hard to see the...lol, just kidding.
So, it's an automatic, I presume? There aren't that many places for them to leak, fortunately. The obvious places are the pan gasket for the bottom pan on the transmission/transaxle case, the two cooling lines coming out of the case and going to front of car to a fluid cooler either mounted in front of the radiator or in the radiator assembly itself, and the two drive axe seals. There is a hidden seal on the front mainshaft, but if it is leaking, fluid would come out on the lower plate between the transaxle and the rear of engine. The plate may be or have an inspection cover to remove, but the fluid would be dripping out the very bottom there and fluid would be present inside the inspection cover.
That should cover the main leak prone areas. Sometimes a dipstick tube's O-ring may fail and oil seeps out around the tube.
Good luck with the metro. Once you find the leak, it should be pretty apparent how to fix it. Installing driveaxle seals would be hardest, or most involved.

1993 A4LD oil leak

My 93' Stang has the same problem. Well you got a few things there, most likely the front pump seal. That seal connects your torque converter to the trans and allows fluid to flow through it if that gets worn it may leak, but it will usally do this if the engine is running or when it gets put under a heavier load (ie: Driving up a hill) it may still leak if the engine has just been shut off. could also be torque converter or flexplate im still working on that soloution.

Hi i have a 93 buick lesabre that is leaking atf badly seems to be comming from right where the motor and transmisson join together im thinking torque converter seal and im wondering how difficult a job...

I worked on buicks at a dealer for 15 years and never saw a torque converter seal leaking...if its trans fluid that leaking i would suspect a front pump seal in the trans,If is not trans fluid make sure its not the back of the intake manifold leaking down the bellhousing seaming to leak from the trans. ..If oil maybe rear main seal... No special tools needed really just make sure you support the engine safely if you are going to remove the trans.....

Im leaking transmission fluid and i dont think i have coverage to repair it

Generally the trans pan is first to leak on any transmission. If the perimeter of the pan espeacially the mounting bolts are wet with red fluid change the filter and gasket. Add transmission fluid as recommended in the owners manual also
If the leak is between the engine and the trans the front pump seal or pump seals need replacement.
If leaking at the axle shafts the axle seals need replacing
