Question about 2002 Volvo S60

1 Answer

Hello I have a 2002, S60 AWD. It has done 108,000kms. I have just taken it for a 15,000km service as the warning sign came up recommending one. ( I do not have a trouble with that). I noticed that the mechanic is now recommending a service interval of 10,000kms, instead of the previous 15,000kms. Is this satisfactory or are they recommending a service 5000kms earlier than they should. Are they able to reset the computer in the car to 10,000kms, rather than 15,000kms?

Yes they should be able to reset the maint. reminder from 15k to 10k.only the volvo dealer can though.ask the mechanic why he recomends changing it. it could be he has reason to suspect extreme use or the shops pockets need more money.i personaly would stay with the 15k unless you do alot of short trip driving or extreme dust enviroment

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

This has to do with the anti-lock brake system. It will be fine without it, but if you want it fixed get it done at a dealer not a shop. It will cost a lot more but the repairs will be done right and will last longer.

Volvo S60 AWD 2.5- car pulls sideways when driving on rain or sno

It's probably not that the wheels are moving at a different speed. It sounds like a simple alignment issue to me. Installing a bearing could have thrown it off. You should just have a simple alignment job done.
