the abs light comes on every once in a while with no specific pattern, rhyme or reason . it happens only rarely but enough to drive me crazy. its happened since i got it new and the multiple trips to the dealer were a waste of time . it doesn't seem to give any codes from the computer so the dealer says its fine ? my 95 econoline van does it even worse! is this an inherant problem i'm supposed to live with? any help is greatly appreciated !
I had a similar problem for awhile. I can not remember what fixed it maybe it just stopped. I was told that the light comes on when the ABS system disengages and that mine was doing it when I would slide on slick roads( I'm in Alaska). Basically the brake was locking up repeatedly so the system would disengage and reset its self when you turned off the key and restarted the truck. Does this help? Good luck! J ...

I need to splice together three pairs of injector connector wires on the right side of the engine but easy access is blocked by a big piece of metal, perhaps the overhead cam. How do I remove this item to get it out of the way?
