Problem for BMW 1995 3 Series
Airbag Light

A faulty airbag light is becoming a common problem on 1994 - 1995 3-series.
The problem is in the seatbelt. COsts $ 180.00 -$ 200.00 to have a dealer
fix it.
If you have had this problem, please contact the NHTSA at
http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/ & report it. Maybe we can force a recall.

I ahd this problem last week. It cost me $280. BUT, it wasnt the seat sensor
this time. It was the sensor in the steering wheel. Some kind of collar with
contacts on it.

I had this problem with my 1994 318is. Fortunately, my car was still under
warranty at that time. Anyone have any problems with their profile gasgets
on the 92 - 94 318? I had mine fail at around 90,000 km. 10 000 kms after
my warranty finished. Cost me an arm and a leg to fix.
