Everything works on dash but clock speedo and tack could a speed sensor fix the problem

No, because the tach uses a different sensor than the speedo. You probably have a connector issue. Is the clock on the same panel? See if you can reach behind and push on the connector. If you want wiring diagram, let me know and I'll see if I can find it.

Fix speedometer cable


the vehicle speed sensor is most allways located on the tail shaft of transmision passenger side not to be confused with axle speed sensor (for ABS brakes) on the top of rear differential

but if your speedo don't work there is a tech serv bull on in dash speedo's for your model year , basicly it needs replaced
ck with your ford dealer it might be still under warrenty

Tack speedo dont work trans dont shift takes oof 2nd wont go 1st


new transmission will be needed more than likely. But i have had luck with a few cars with similar problems by changing the trans filter and fluid

Speed sensor should be in the front driver's side wheel well. My guess is it was disconnected while you were working.

Speed sensor not working how to change it where is it located


the speed sensor is located in the transmission near the prop shaft. has nothing to do with the clock. you may want to check the fuses first

95 subaru impreza ;speedometer quit,engine light stays on


i had this problem with mine if your cable spins wen the car is moving its not the gear box end or the cable its the speed sensor in the speedo its self its very easy to fix you have to strip the speedo out of the case the sensor is only small and on the under side of the speedo the sensor is about 50 mm long and 10 mm wide change that and it should be ok
oh remember to reset your ecu
