My 2006 Jeep liberty has a problem with fan for heat or air conditioning. It will only work if turned to 4. One, two and three do not provide any air flow!

Your resistor pack has failed and needs to be replaced. The resistor is usually mounted along the engine compartment firewall sticking in to the heater duct. There is an electrical connector on it and 2 screws holding it in. If you can find it, take it out and see if it's burned up. Sorry I don't have info for the exact location on your car. If this is not the cause, or if you have more questions, please do reply.

    If the resistor pack is not on the firewall, look under the dashboard on the passenger's side. The blower is usually inside the duct to the far right, and the resistor may be near to the left of the blower.

My 2006 jeep Liberty Front Defrost blows cold air. When I turn on the heat every vent blow hot air, except the front defrost and it blows cool air...any suggestions?

Sounds like defrost door on heater box is not work You need to get under dash and check controls on the box. Good luck

make sure that yo have coolant in the radiator and at he reserve, sounds like you have a internaly damaged water pump and a loose drive belt to the water pump
