2000 Kia Sephia starting problem

-   My 2000 sephia wont start or turn over ....good batery please help -   kia sucks

-   I have a manual and it says the 2000 fuel pump is under the back seat, I also been told it is in the fuel tank. I have the new fuel pump and going to try to change it out. What is the easiest way to do this. I hope that the fuel pump is the problem. New Alternator, new battery and now the fuel won't go the the injection system.

-   I have the very same problem. I have taken it into the shop 5 times now and have had the fuel pump replaced, timing belt replaced and a crank sensor replaced. I have been stuck before for about 45 min where it would fire and start. It will turn over but not fire. Most of the time it will start after a 2nd or 3rd attempt. It can have perfect starts for weeks and then have issues. I have had it do this in the rain, in the sun, when it's hot, when it's cold, when the fuel tank is almost empty, when it's full, different fuels, etc. It seems to happen more often when it's humid or within a few days after it has rained. Wondering if it's moisture related. But still don't have a clue what is wrong. I have had 3 different mechanics look at it and every 2 kia dealerships. Any suggestions?-   jenosborne21
