I would like to know if anybody is experiencing the same problems with the '93 Ford Probe that I have. I currently have 33,000 miles on this car and have had a new clutch installed, three sets of front brake rotors and a 2nd gear synchro replaced. I have yet to mention the small problems such as air leaks around the windows and intermittant dome light. I am not just bitching and saying to not buy a Ford, I am truly interested in any info that I can get to help me deal with this car. I have contacted two different dealers and Ford and asked them to help me, but to no avail. The Minnesota Attorney Generalinfo rmed me that I dont have a Lemon Law case. I just want this car to be right, or exchange it for one that is. Suggestions? As a footnote, my wife purchased a '89 Ford Probe before we met, and we still own that, with 88,000 miles still going strong, we wouldn't trade it for anything.

Mine has about 20,000 miles on it with no problems, other than a fluctuating idle.
I have a '93 Probe, too. I had Window Air leaks, too. It took the dealer a couple of tries, but they replaced the molding and realigned the window and got it fixed. This is a common problem with pillerless coupes, however.
I had break problems when first bought, and the dealer replaced the pads and (I think) calipers with a newer design. No problems since.
I've had no problems with clutch or tranny. How hard do you drive the thing?
