Question about 1998 Ford Windstar
The power steering pump may still be going bad even though it has fluid. If there was no fluid, it would just mean a leak. Pop the hood and get someone to turn the wheel back and forth while you listen directly to the power steering pump. It should not be making any noises at all. If it, Please have it serviced A.S.P. as it can be very dangerous if it goes out on you at an in-opportune time.
