Sorry, don't know why I put the FPDM info here, too many problems open at one time. The front impact severity sensor is on the center radiator support. There is not a reset for it. Are you getting a LFC ( Light Flash Code ) 42 ? IF you are getting LFC 42, and have not been in an accident, it could be a case of a corroded Front Impact Severity sensor, P/N : 6L3Z-14B004-AA. Simple 2 screw

If the problem is a crank no start, drop the spare tire, and check the FPDM ( Fuel Pump Driver Module ) for cracks. The 1st revision was an aluminum module base mounted to the steel cross member, which caused dissimilar metal corrosion, and the corrosion would build up and crack the module ( rendering the fuel pump dead, same as the fuel inertia switch ).

Here is the picture from my 2006, I can a cracked housing, but the PCB was still good at the time of the change out.

SOURCE: 325i Hood won't open after front end collision

with out seeing a pic of the damage, you need to pull the latch inside & then go pull the latch out side, some times both have to be done simultaniously, two people, you may need to make a wire pulling device with a coat hanger to pull the out side catch latch at the top of the hood. Good luck

SOURCE: gas gauge, cruise control quit after front end collision.

THEY ARE SEPARATE PROBLEMS, YOUR GAS GAUGE PROBLEM COULD BE ELECTRICAL OR THAT YOU NEED TO REPLACE YOUR FUEL PUMP WHICH IS INSIDE THE GAS TANK. AS FOR THE CRUISE CONTROL PROBLEM, IT COULD BE AS SIMPLE AS THE SWITCH BEING BROKEN.

2002 x5 rear end collision car will not crank over

My recommendation is to look for the Fuel Pump trip switch and reset it.

During a collision a sensor is able to sense impact and trip so fuel is not pump any longer.

With the car in the on but not running position see if you can hear the fuel pump.

If you can then the car has other issues.

Hope this helps

Kill Switch in 05 Pacifica

Yes! It should be located near the fuel pump by the gas tank, could be located near the wiring going into the transmission, or it might be behind the upholstery in the very back.

2003 cavalier was in a front end collision. I don't know were the switch is to turn the fuel back on.

Chevrolet vehicles don't have an inertia switch, the only American manufacturer to use these is Ford.

2001 Dodge Caravan was wrecked in the front and emergency fuel switch was engaged. How do I reset or fix this problem?

Some vehicles have a button in the front end that you must reset. It turns the fuel off in a front end collision. If not, you may need to reset the fuel, if equipped. It may be in your glove box.
