Motor bearings or perhaps missing blade. Remove blower and inspect fan for irregularities. If irregular, replace fan. If fan is OK, try moving shaft back and forth in bearings. If bearings loose, replace motor. If you have more questions, please reply.

I had a 2000 safari van the 2 time I had this problem it was due to the vacuum hose break. The vacuum hoses on my van melted holes in them by laying on hot part of the engine. You could have breaks or loose connection.

On 98 caravan 2.4 it starts to wobble at 40up to 50 mph mostly when accelerating when speed reached smoths also smooths out after 50 mph alll new including valves. could bad wires cause this?

How old are the good tires? These speeds usually mean belt or balance problem with tires...If new tires, they need to be re-checked for balance...and not out of round...also check for bent wheel...due to chuckhole? Sometimes a bent steel wheel can be hammered straight...hope this helps.

Van will start to shake the whole van and the steering wheel. it has started to make a noise. i have checked the tires and they are not loose. thank you for the help.

if it shakes going slow, like parking lot speed, check the front tires, you may have a tire with a belt coming apart. What kind of noise? Wheel bearing? brakes?

Heater fan has stopped blowing. Just before this happened a lound droning/whining noiuse came from front of vehicle.

From you're description I'd say the blower moter has
cooked a bearing. Check fuse #1 and #2 both are 15amp. They're in the fuse block behind the coin tray
on the lower left side of the dash. They usually go first if the bl moter locks up. To do a quick test unplug the bl moter, located behind the right side of
the dash. Turn the fan switch off and replace the fuses. Plug the blower in and turn it on, if it pop's the
fuses again replace the blower moter. Hope this helps.

The blower motor makes horrendous noises on the higher speeds. On speed 1, I don't hear any noises. There's a little rumble on 2, and the 3 and 4 shake the whole car. This is happening when the heater is...

Sounds like the bearings that are on the shaft which the fan turns on are in severe need of lubrication. You can remove the fan unit and shoot some WD40 onto the shaft and bearings.
