Question about 2001 Ford Escort ZX2
Hi, this a common fault. the bottom of the fuel tank is full of deposits (water, sand, fibres) and will enter the fuel filter (in the fuel tank). there is another fuel filter and fuel pump near the back and underneath the car fuel lines and injectors may be partially blocked called (fuel starvation). can be taken to a garage to blow back the deposits. the best advice drain and to take the tank off and clean it out. adding REDEX can clean the system, but may take time. i hope this is usefull. gerry
