Hi, there is a relay for head lamps. if you check the revse side of the fuse cover. (looks like a basin on its side with straight lines forward or diped lines) if this not the problem the wire suppling the head lamps is broken or loose or very bad connection or dirty. also check the earths around the lamp. a volt meter or a lamp holder with lamp and lenght of wire one with a clip and the other with a probe can be used for general testing and checking electrical systems/ gerry

My H2 Hummer 2004 day lights fuse are okay and bulb seems to be okay but only 1 day lights working

Unfortunately, lots of moisture and junk can get up there and kill the bulb. Remove the bulb, inspect it, inspect the connections. Make sure there is no rust and junk in there. If one bulb is working and the other is not, replace the bulb. Believe me, I have seen stranger things happen... but with one working it is not the relay or the fuse.

Head lights work but the tail lights don't come on with the head lights

Do the tail lights come on at all? If not, check the fuse. If the fuse is okay, replace the bulbs.

2002 Volkswagen Cabrio- No low beam headlights

you prob haven't used your lights all summer, I have seen this on more than one occassion, you are correct in your assumption, both you dim bulbs have blown. Both head and dim lights are in the same bulb, but head is working and dim is gone. If you take out one of the bubs you should be able to check it

Left rear tail light does not work

have you had any work done on it sounds like wire may have been cut check for power at fuse and if you can get to wires close to fuse check there and if you can get to wires probe right before the bulb socket cause the socket may be the culprit .

Right rear brake light still out after replacement with new bulb.

Well, the first this to do is get a test light and have someone depress the brake pedal while you check for power at the bulb socket. If you have power, the next step is to check the ground. Just hook your test light to power and see if the light comes on when you touch the ground part of the light socket. In my experience, most light issues are caused by a ground problem. If the ground turns out to be the issue, you can cheat and just run a short jumper ground wire from the light socket to a ground anywhere near the light.
