I've never seen a filler plug on an auto trans housing. isn't there a filler tube with a dipstick?

yes there is a filler plug its at the top of the housing use a allen wrench to undo it. then to the left of that lower down towards the front there is a yellow plastic knob with a flang on it held in with a 12 mm bolt u remove this and there is a dip stick attached mark with cold hot levels this is 4 checking the level but the other higher up allen plug is 4 filling all the equinoxs have this system they do not have a normal dip stick so most people would have to go to a shop for servive al

I replaced the output sensor but speedometer still won't work on a 2009 G3 Pontiac

Yes there is voltage and ground on 3 wire sensors. There is a signal return also. You need to check the wires for power and ground at the plug and also against the battery. They should be the same. If you have lost one, or the signal return. Then you need to check the continuity of the wires between the sensor and PCM. Anything above 5.0 ohms, the wire or plug needs to be fixed or replaced. The PCM plug also needs checked for continuity. If all checks good, suspect the PCM is bad. Look up recalls for these first. Could be programming.

TOP UP GEARBOX OIL

Assuming you are talking about a standard transmission you have to locate the filler plug on the side of the transmission. Remove the plug.
