Thank you, Don't think it's the heater core , there's still heat coming out. I can see where it is coming out on the lower part on the passenger side, but the hose is missing and I can't figure out where the darn thing would lead to. I've looked in every chilton type book I can lay on hands on but can't find where it leads too. Any input would be most helpful.

I have a power steering fluid leak but not coming from pump. It appears to be coming from something located on the upper part of the fire wall.

It is likely the high pressure power steering hose is leaking. Put the car on a car lift to confirm this is the problem, the line is very difficult to replace for an amateur home mechanic.

I have a 1995 buick skylark. There is a 1/2" hose that comes out of the fire wall on the passangers side of the car in the engine compartment. the hose is a 90 degree elbow and then just stops. There is...

That hose is to let the condensed water out of the box(from the AC system) If antifreeze is coming out there ,has to be a leak in the heater core. Hose is supposed to just direct the water to the ground, open on the end.

I have a problem with my fire wall leaking coolant, it seems to be comming out of one of the hoses that lead to the heater core.but i have no loss of heat and i cant smell anything from the vents.and i was...

Do you have coolant on the front passenger floor board? When heater cores fail it will leak onto the floor board and mist coolant on the windshield. If you have a loose clamp on the heater core hose it's possible it could be leaking down the firewall into the passenger compartment. If you don't have coolant on the windshield check the clamps / hoses first.

Leak in the fire wall of a 1996 buick skylark

Ive used marine sealant before (metal tube) to stop a leak after installing a stereo cable through a firewall, but i hear regular old silicone from home depot will get the job done. These sealant will last about 5 years or so.
