How to change a front wheel bearing on a 2007 toyota tacoma 2 wheel drive pickup truck

The bearing & hub is a whole assembly for this model, start by removing the brake calipers, the removing the rotors" a couple taps with the hammer should loosen it" , after removing the rotors the hub & bearing assembly is held on by 4 #17 bolts, after you get the hud and bearing assembly off you will need a tool called a bearing split plate ,to split the hub and bearing off each other. Now you should have the new bearing assembly ,inner wheel seal, and hub set together" this is when you need a press". Press the hub onto the new bearing assembly. And thats it! Its ready to go back on the way you took it off.

Just bought the truck 4 wheel drive front brakes are worn out looks like hub and rotor are all one piece you pull the cap of where you make it free wheel and 4 wheel and then take a nut off inside to take...

No the bearings are not the "sealed bearing" type. they come out and can be repacked. You will need a new inner grease seal as well. Most of the time the outer gaskets are steel gaskets (If they have not previously been changed). I usually just put a THIN coating of silicone on them and reuse them. It depends on your particular hub and rotor assembly - some of the rotors will unbolt from the inside of the hub and can be replaced separately. According to the picture (below) the hub and rotor is serviced as an assembly, but don't take this to heart. AutoZone lists the rotor separately from the hub - CLICK HERE

How do u remove the front rotor on an 83 toyota pick up truck?

Take the brake calipers off, the caliper mount(if applicable) and then hit the sides of the rotor with a heavy hammer until the rotor frees itself.....UNLESS you have 4 wheel drive, then you must disassemble the hub assembly.

Hope this helps
Positive Feedback ALWAYS Appreciated :)

Remove front rotor ?

As I was saying, remove tire, remove brake caliper, and pull the hub by removing the large nut from the axel with rotor attached.
Look on the back of the hub assembly and you will find bolts that hold the rotor on, remove them and take off rotor.
Please let me know how it goes.

Removing rotor on a 1991 toyota 4x4 pickup

You have to take apart the 4x4 hub to get to the lock nut for the bearings then you have to reome the hub and rotor assy, then you have to press the wheel studs out to remove the rotor, then reverse the process.

Brake rotors

Are there small retainer clips on the studs still? More than likely its just rust built up on the center hub. Take some sand paper to the center hub, as long as e-brake is released and caliper is off, it will come off. I'm not familar with the toyota sienna's but if they have internal drum e-brakes, I would back off the adjuster if they do.
