Float valve is stuck open. Try tapping on carb with small hammer near inlet port to unstick. Consider rebuilding or replacing carb. Any questions, please reply

First, replace the fuel filter which has allowed dirt to hold the float valve open. Remove fuel hose at carb (plug it) and run carb dry. Reconnect and see if wide open float valve allows dirt to pass thru. If not the carb needs opened and cleaned

My car started having trouble starting back up after being shut off for only a short time and now is dying while driving

the car with need to be spimmed, theres no fuel in the motor,,do you have fuel injection, if you have fuel injection you are going to find out how to get the fuel into the ejcedtor,
if you have a carburetor than just pour some gas into the carburetor and turn the key once you get the car crank over and some gas in the system the fuel will pick up and the car should run

I have a yamaha atv 100 cc and I'm looking for governor. It jurks when idling and it kills it once in while and it don't let it full throttle it will just act like it dies but will keep running if let go...

That won't have a governor on it. It sounds like you have either a fuel problem (old bad gas or dirty - inside - carburetor) or an ignition problem (poor spark, bad spark plug, worn points). Possibly a very dirty air filter.

Why does my 1995 pathfinder die when gas is not pressed?

The engine is fuel injected, so no carburetor.
Usually the problem is a dirty throttle body, faulty IAC valve, or other component.
The computer uses the idle air control valve to adjust the idle speed.

Car died while driving, won't start

have you checked to see if you have spark? Your ignition control module could of went bad in the distributor, its a $29.99 part at autozone.

If you have spark, check to see if you have fuel, is there fuel squirting into the carburetor when you look in it and work the gas?

Sounds like you have some significant carburetor or fuel line problems. I wouldn't drive this thing at all if you smell gas inside the car. Gas fumes are more explosive than gasoline itself. One small electrical spark and at best, you'll explode and die. At worst, you may end up with burns all over your body and spend the rest of your life in terrible pain.
