Question about 1991 GMC S-15 Jimmy
This is the result of normal wear in the oil pump and bearings of the engine. The pressure is not going to zero, right? If you have an idiot light, it probably comes on at 20 psi, which is OK for idling. Unless it gets worse, like oil light staying on at 1000 rpm, or you expect to get another 100,000 miles out of this truck, I would not get a new oil pump.
