Where is fuel shut off relay switch on a 2004 Chevy Aveo it won't start after minor accident

Doesn't have a inertia fuel shut off switch ! An the fuel pump relay wouldn't have anything to do with it because of an accident . Check out video on youtube crank's but doesn't start an run > I'm assuming that when you turn the key to the start position the engine spins but doesn't start an run ? Check for spark to spark plug's , buy a fuel pressure gauge an test for fuel . Video's on youtube for that also .

Y after putting a new fuel pump in it still won't start in a 2000 mountaineer

Is there spark at the spark plugs ? Did you have fuel pressure test done before replacing fuel pump ! Have you checked the fuel pump relay or the inertia fuel shut off switch ? Has your mountaineer been in an accident ?

I pulled button up on fuel shut off switch thn pushed it back down found my power problem would messing wth cutoff switch cause it to miss

You did nothing

That fuel safety switch will only open,
cutting power to the fuel pump in an accident

That is what it is for

Ever wonder why only a ford product
has ever had them,at least in north america

I would say there is some politics or liability concerns
there

If by chance it was bad or open, you could replace
it or bypass it,if your not concerned with why it is there

My 1998 buick century custom when warm luggs like it has a miss. The electical on dash board are not on, still has power but luggs... please help !

first thing I would do is check all tune up components, distributor cap (worn out or cracked), rotor (worn out) , spark plugs if new check spark plug gap, spark plug wires, check engine timing. if that doesn't solve the problem check engine compression possible blown head gasket or leaking piston rings, check fuel pressure, change out fuel filter. also if your catalytic converter going bad can cause a lack of power.

Van turn off

Check for spark in order to see if the engine's ignition system is working.
Add starting fluid to the intake to see if it starts for a few seconds.
If the car does start, then it's a fuel delivery problem such as a fuel pump or a computer that doesn't allow fuel injectors to pulse.

If it doesn't start, then the spark is likely not being delivered to the spark plugs.
One can double check this by using a spark tester for the spark plug boot removed from the spark plug and grounded to the chassis.

I have a 1999 crown vic, it will turn over but will not start

Check the fuel pump is working.
Check the fuel filter is not clogged.
Check if you are getting fuel from the injectors and spark from the spark plug.
Also make sure the air filter is not clogged.
