My 2001 ford focus ac light is blinking but hot air is coming out.

Could mean a stuck button? Try disconnecting your battery (remember your radio code) then work the buttons. All may return when reconnecting? If not have the air-conditioning system checked. :)

I can,t get the heater to blow hot air i have changed the thremosta ,checked the fuse added antifreeze

Have the system flushed one section at a time. ie heater core, motor, rad. Forward and reverse flush. Reassemble the system, then bleed the air out. Then restrict the bypass tube. Don't block it, though. I had the same thing done to my 2000 Taurus SE and it's HOT.

If you flush the system all assembled, the sediment just moves around.
Best of Luck.

Car running hot i flushed cooling system and put in a new thermasate

If you flushed the cooling system, you probably got air in the coolant lines. It takes a while to remove it. This is done by running the car in park at 1500-2000 rpm with the heater on max and the fan on max. when the heater blows hot air you are almost done, if it doesnt, shut the car off as soon as the temp gauge is half way! Let it cool down and repeat.

Hi, I have a 2000 TDI Beetle. We have taken it to many repair places to fix the air. Sometimes I can get cold air to blowout of my vents. Other times it will not be cold at all! I have checked the freon...

Check near the fire wall for two rubber hoses. That should be your supply and return lines for the heater core. This is prone to leakage and coolant will build up where it starts entering the car. Sometimes coolant build up (looks like melted cotton candy) will prevent the heater flap from operating keeping it open letting hot air escape inside.

2000 hyundai elantra inside room heat

Almost every car(including yours) has a flow through ventilation system which means even with the air turned off air will still come through the vents. Its hot because of outside temp and engine temp.
Basically just push the recirculation button and it will stop.
