Have you checked the injector wiring? Each has only 2 wires you can check. If no power, test the injector power control module.

SOURCE: my 95 talon will not start

Reset the ECU? Who told you to do that? Check the basics. Does it have fuel and spark while cranking? Did those wires get put on correctly when they were replaced? Be sure the wires are correct. You can go here and pick the right engine to see how the wires should be run:

You didn't mention which engine you had (with or without turbo).

SOURCE: Car will not start.Engine turns over but spark plugs willnot fire

I would say replace ignition coil, that might me the problem, otherwise it can be the ecu, which might have some electrical problems not allowing the car to stay running. Good luck.

88 ranger 2.3l...replaced fuel pump, filter, plugs, plug wires, ignition module, coil pack. Wont start. ECU was replaced last yr. Initial spark when the key first bumps...then nothing. Wont start.

There is a fuel cutoff switch if the truck was in any type of collision. They also have relays that control all of the things you replaced. Start there and do a visual inspection of relays.

I replaced the spark plugs, wires, coil pack, and it wont turn over. I hear the starter turning and the wine of the fuel pump and nothing.

You need to check if you have connected the wires to your coil pack correctly. Also check all the plug leads and make sure they are sucurely plugged in to the coil pack and on to the plugs.
If it was running prior to this and all your fuses are good then you may have mixed up the wires.

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

You may wan't to replace the coil pack. If the coil pack is faulty there will be no current to the plugs. Have it replaced and you'll surely be good.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

I changed fuel filter and fuelpump, coil pack sparkplugs wires. gets fire but will not start. what do you think is going on?

Do you have fuel pressure? Any codes? Wires on correctly? Got a crank position sensor signal as well as TPS Sensor?

Maybe the fuel pump is going out have the fuel pressure checked. Or you have a defective coil pack. You should have taken it back to who ever put the coil pack on, right away when you first started having trouble.
