My Taurus stalls as soon as I shift into drive

Try unplugging the mass air flow sensor on the air filter box. If it don't stall, change the sensor.

Air flow issue- intermittently blows from wrong vents

This is a common problem on this site.
In your case I would look for a vac leak or a sticky blend door.
Since the direction of air flow changes when you are accelerating, I'm going to guess the blend door or doors are controlled by engine vacuum. There may be a vac leak between the dash and the engine, or the blend door may not be able to move back and forth correctly.
Defrost is the default position when a problem occurs, to make sure the windshield is clear of fog or frost.

Misses sometimes, no power, transmition is hard when changing gears and slow advance hooked up there machine and it said mass air flow sensor will this make the transmition act up?

yes . because transmission shift points are mainly acheived through proper functioning engine and its components. if the engine light came on due to mass air flow sensor you may want to check the air intake tube for splits that will allow the engine to **** air in that the computer does not relate to the air flow sensor. the kia dealer get about $110.00 dollars for the tube but a good roll a black tape can do wonders on those splits.

Check engine light comes on and transmission shifts early. Codes ran,had fuel codes and transmission etc,, could this be the mass air flow sensor

try resetting your ecu. unplug your battery for 2 to 3 hours then plug back. you will probably get idling problems and shifting probs for most a week but your ecu should tell your car everything after that. I assume its a auto tranny. i don't think it would be the mass air flow, check ur air filter and housing but i doubt that!

My 07 Toyota Corolla will start fine. It idles without problem, but as soon as I put it in drive it dies. 40% of the time it will do the same thing in reverse also. But 100% of the time once I put it in...

The engine uses an air flow meter and any vacumn leakages would cause the engine to shut off. I would suggest checking the air hose for leakages, hidden cracks that would only appear when the engine is shifted into reverse.

When in forward gears, the engine would tilt to one side, there are no leakages but when shifted into reverse, the engine tilts the opposite way, ( old engine mounts tends to allow the tilting to be quite substantial) causing the air hoses etc to open up any cracks and allowing excessive air to leak between the air flow meter and throttle body causing the stalling.

Hope this helps.

Engine idles up and down shifts hard transmission has been rebulit pcm gives a mass air flow troubble code replaced it problem unresloved

You need more information. I would start looking for a vacuum leak, especially if the mass air flow sensor is still not giving the desired readings. The O2 sensors will likely also be off.

2001 malibu shifts rough

code p0113 means: IAT sensor high temp

and the solution:
The Intake air temp sensor is located inside the air flow meter and uses yellow and black wire and the black wire. IAT sensor circuit code P0113 indicating excessively high voltage or (Open Circuit) the ECM is either not seeing the correct voltages at terminals 66 and 80 under the dash at the ecm. It could be as simple as a broken wire under the insulation right at the air flow meter, Or a little worse a bad air flow meter. There are cheeper remanufactured Aair flow meters available at Nissan for your car around $150 instead of $400 like they used to be new.
