You have to contact the dealer that you bought the car from or go to a lincoln dealer with the vin number and proof that you own the vehicle ( title, Registration, etc.) and they'll have to burn you a new key.

For about $25.00 the dealer will cut a new key,not burn one
You go home and program it to your ignition switch,by following the owners manual,
turning on and off the ignition switch, with the new key

Take vin number and proof of ownership to your local dealer. Once they can verify that the car is really yours they will cut you a new key.

I have a 2005 Lincoln ls v8 and I have lost my keys and have no idea how to go about it

Call the dealer to see if they can make you a new key - expect it to be $200+.

Also, call a Locksmith as they might be able to as well.

Make a spare key and HIDE it on the car - under the bumper or somewhere.

What would be the best place and price to get a new key for my 2000 lincoln LS, and would it be a chip key for that year or no ?

Yes it is a pats key so it will need to be programed. I would just go to the dealer. Ford or Lincoln dealers can do this.

Bypass key lincon 2002 ls

it does have a chip, most bypass units require you to have atleast one key that is programmed. You need 2 keys and they have to be programmed.

I lost the only key i have its for a 2001 lincoln ls will it cost an arm and leg for a new one from the dealer or can i just get one made

any locksmith can make you a key but it will have to be encrypted into the security system for the vehicle to start. most locksmiths now have a machine to go into the security system to do this for you.

I have a 2000 lincoln ls the problem that im having is when im driving d5 the d(drive) becomes an E and whatever gear i put it in it stays an E even in drive its still an E only after i turn the car off...

E=error, the gear indicator has lost a signal from the transmission as to what gear it is in.
when you cycle the key and its ok,means it is a soft code and not a hard need to have it checked on a computer before you cycle the key,
