It could be many things. do what a mechanic would do get a flashlight and trace the oil trail to its highest point. That will be the source. If car is heavy with oil then first clean engine withy "Gunk" engine spray at a local do it yourself car wash. This will make it easier to trace

Where does the upstream passenger side 02 sensor bolt in on the exhaust i found the sensor hanging from the electrical connector busted out the engine its a 1994 ford thunderbird

It should be screwed directly into the exhaust manifold. If you found it hanging, and you do not have a major exhaust leak, then I would say that your O2 sensor is broken. Look for a bung on the manifold and you will have to extract what is left of your old one.

1994 ford f150 oxygen sensor location

An Oxygen Sensor (O 2 S) or heated Oxygen Sensor (HO 2 S) is used on all engines. The sensor is mounted in the right side exhaust manifold on some V8 engines, while other V8 engines use a sensor in both right and left manifolds.

Heated oxygen sensors are located in the exhaust pipes below the exhaust manifolds. The sensors react with the oxygen in the exhaust gasses and generates a voltage based on this reaction. A low voltage indicates too much oxygen or a lean condition. Where as a high voltage indicates not enough oxygen or a rich condition.

Disconnect the Oxygen Sensor (O 2 S). Measure resistance between PWR and GND (heater) terminals of the sensor. If the reading is about 6 ohms at 68°F (20°C). the sensor's heater element is okay.

Hope this helps (remember to rating this free answer).

Hi, have you checked for intake manifold gasket leaks? Pretty common on Ford V-6. With engine running, spray carb cleaner on the gaskets. If the engine speed changes, you have a gasket leak (yes, driver's side of the manifold).
Thanks for using FixYa.

2003 f350 6.0 deisel passenger side head leaking coolant to external on start-up as engine becomes warm completely stops leaking

check to ensure that coolant is not leaking into the oil. I would change the head gasket as so as possible. the reason it appears to stop leaking is because the components get warm and expand.
