Question about 1998 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup
Mass Air Flow sensor on the collar immediately behind the air cleaner on the air ducting has a fault. Plug and unplug it a few times to see if freshening the contacts helps any. To clear the code disconnect he negative lead from the battery for about 5 minutes, this should clear it. If the code returns then consider replacing the MAF. Inspect the MAF components to make sure there is no obstruction or dirt on any of the components in the air stream. If there is some evidence of dirt etc. then clean these off with electrical (non residue) spray cleaner, do not physically touch anything with we finger or cloth
