Question about 2003 Dodge Intrepid
The battery in an Intrepid is hard to get to. You cannot replace it from the top.
Step 1: Turn steering wheel all of the way to the right.

Step 4: Open the hood of your car.
Step 5: Remove the two bolts holding your air cleaner to the car.
Step 6: Remove air cleaner and place it out of the way.
Step 7: Loosen the terminal connectors holding the wires to the battery.
Step 8: Remove the battery from the hold in the wheel well.
Step 9: Put everything back together following these steps in reverse.

Follow all the other instructions but save a bother and don't remove the 6-8 bolts. Punch the splashshield from behind the battery towards the wheel and she'll slide up and out.
