P0154 Oxygen Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

It's not operating like the PCM thinks it should, and so sets those two codes. It's likely a sensor or the associated wiring, connectors to the sensor. So get the 2,1 sensor looked at, or just replace it(It's a good bet it's the sensor, although not ruling out the harness).

Hope helps (remember rated and comment this).

Yes you can still drive it. It may run rough or have a miss to it, but it will still run. P0145, O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 3)

It does sound like it is an electrical problem, possibly in a harness (damaged) or the ECM had major issues that a reflash could not overcome.

Code po154 what does it mean and what do i do to fix

Hi,
The reason for code po154 is that there is no activity detected on the Bank 2 Sensor 1 . But there is also a bulletin that reprograms the computer for a false readout. Basically you need to monitor the O2 sensor action. If it looks in good condition then the reprogram needs to be done. If not, you need to replace the O2 sensor.

Thank you !!

Dtc codes po151and po154. going thru a small amount coolant. about a liter/quart every 2 weeks. exhaust seems to be to wet.1996 chev 5.7 . heads have been done by previous owner.?

yes coolant can kill an 02 sensor. Thats what the codes indicate. Votage needs to switch between 200 and 800 mv and switching constantly. You get this code when the voltage stays the same for too long

You're right, the PO154 has to do with the O2 sensor. The code has the info of Oxygen Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 1).
Bank 2 is the exhaust manifold that cylinder #2 uses.
Sensor 1 is the sensor in BETWEEN the exhaust manifold and the catalytic converter.
No Activity Detected in the circuit could mean the O2 sensor is dead, or an open/cut wire going to the sensor.
That's about all the info you can get out of that code PO154.
