Is there a remedy to rough idle and jerky acceleration from a stopped position?

If you have water in your tank the injector cleaner gets diluted but will not fix your rough idle problem. Try a can of Sea Foam. It will smoke like crazy for 10-15 minutes but that is perfectly normal.

Why is there a loss of power on a 1993 mercury villager after engine gets warm

Very old vehicle, and highly likely it needs a new fuel filter and major tune-up (including all new spark plug wires, spark plugs, cap, rotor, and ignition coil).
Verify proper fuel pressure at the fuel rail, and service fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator as necessary. If you have been using ethanol blend fuel in the vehicle over the past few years, I recommend removing ALL FUEL from the vehicle and replacing it with new. Please read my "Tip" on Fixya regarding the problems with ethanol blend fuels in older vehicles (such as yours).

1999 mercury villager sputtering real bad it started after we did a tune up cap rotor and wires, plugs. the van ran fine around town on short drives then we took a trip and now where stuck 16 hrs later it...

You have a bad cam sesnor in the distributor- for certain. Rich Porter on ebay has the best reman for $200. Guaranteed fix. 99 was famous for this, runs cold for 15 mintues then acts up and quits, tach usually jumps around too.

Timing is good. but suburban still runs very rough.. what is it.

Replace the spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. Pull the plug wires off one at a time and do not attempt to install everything together. Install the new plug and wire for each cylinder individually before you start on the next cylinder. They have to be in the correct order or the engine will misfire and you will create a mess for yourself. Once that job is complete, then do the cap and rotor. These are words to live by, I promise. I did it the wrong way one time and I will NEVER do it again. Replacing the fuel filter would be a good idea also along with the air filter if needed.

My 1996 mercury villager stops running when it gets hot outside. It acts like it is not getting the right fuel, but when it sits for a while will start back up. If it is cool outside it does not happen....

It may be the distributor. It has an optical sensor that controls fuel timing and spark timing. They fail just like you describe. Reman is $200 on ebay. $400 at your local shop.

Look for brown dust under slotted wheel under the cap and rotor. Rotor has one screw on side. Blow out dust and see if it helps. Dust is from bearing starting to go.

I am having hesitation when start of acceleration. Already changed plugs, fuel filter

I had the same problem. New plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, MASS airflow sensor cleaned and still it would hesitate. It seemed to get worse when warm. Sunday I fixed the problem. Take the distributor cap and rotor off. Under the rotor there is a metal plate held on by two screws. Take the plate off, this will expose the optical Cam sensor. I took a can of MASS airflow cleaner (Plastic safe)(can buy at advanced auto parts) and sprayed heavily. Once it was dry I put it all back together and it runs like new.

Rough Idle on 1984 Toyota Celica Supra

You said you replaced the plugs - did you use the toyota platinum plugs? I found out the hard way that even the platinum plugs from bosch or any other kind of platinum plug just doesn't work right. Yes, they are more expensive from toyota, but they can make a difference in the way the engine runs.
