Question about Pontiac Firebird
Look for a small toggle switch, usually under the dash (lower area) around the drivers kick panel or below the steering wheel. It is a vallet switch, if it has one...Anyways, if it does, flip the switch to the other position (2 position switch) and then cycle your ignition switch from off to on then off again. That should activate the vallet mode, which deactivates the alarm. Also, you'll notice the little LED will blink differently now, indicating vallet mode is active.
