A lift kit is something other than new shocks. Google Toyota pickup lift kits. As far as replacing the shocks there is a single stud on the top of the shock and 2 bolts on the bottom that secure it to the truck frame. You'll need to raise the truck some and remove the tires to have room to work. This also is a "generic" process and you can probably find basic info using a search engine or even a video at youtube, etc.

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Here's a link to this great service

My 94 Sonoma 4.3 V6 ext cab left turn signal works fine until I apply the brakes, then it holds solid (doesn't flash) . What can be the cause of this? Thanks

Possible ground issue. Make sure the correct application of bulb is installed. Sometimes the inner filament of the bulb will go bad and short. Try replacing both bulbs on the affected side, and when replacing bulbs look for any corrossion/rust in the sockets. If bulbs do not correct this issue you mayn have a defective signal switch

I have a 1990 toyota pickup DLX ext cab V6 5-speed

If it seems to run well otherwise, you might have a partially obstructed catalytic convertor. Usually if this is the problem, the engine will also bog down even if you try to rev it up when it is in neutral.

Front shock went through upper shock mount thats welded on frame due to a missing shock bushing, need to find a new shock mount to weld back on! any suggestions 1997 ford 150 4x4 ext cab longbed

This is not what you wanted to hear but when your talking welded in body parts your going to have to call the local auto salvage / recycling places (Yellow pages) to find what you need.

Let your fingers do the walking and your voice do the talking. You can spend ages in junk yards and yet not find what you need.

You can pick up the phone and usually after a few calls you find a "sharp cookie" that either has the part or knows where to get it.

Unless your willing to go to the FORD dealer and spend a fortune for the replacement part. I would recommend the above.
