Question about 2009 Chevrolet Equinox
Usually The Most Common Cause Of This Is Either A Cracked Spark Plug, Generally #1 or #5 But All Can Do It. Remove The Spark Plugs & Inspect For Carbon Tracking( It Will Be A Dark Line Vertically Located On The White Porceline Part Of The Spark Plug), If You Find This, Replace The Plug & Wire & Apply Dielectric Grease To The Spark Plug Boot.
Next Most Common Issue Is A Failled Head Gasket, Again Most Common On The Rear Cyl Bank. This Requires An Extensive & Expensive Engine Repair.
