Question about Dodge Avenger
The coolant reservoir is on the passenger side of the engine compartment. It should have a radiator cap on it. The design is not very good, because it can be a little tough to see exactly what level the coolant is at. Just look through the side and shake it to see the general level of coolant.
For the oil reminder, reset it by following these steps:
-Turn key to the run position(where all the lights come on but don't start the engine)
-After about 1 second, press the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor and let it come all the way up 3 times within about 5 seconds.
-Then turn the car off.
It won't work if the gas pedal does not go all the way down and up, if you go too fast, or if you don't turn it off afterward. Watch for the small red dot light to go out as an indicator for success. You will probably have to try it a couple of times before it actually resets.
Hope this helps!
