Most likely cause is a failed alternator - providing no power to the vehicle.

Audi A6 oil warning light came on brake went hard my wife was on the top of a hill but managed to stop nearly a fatality advised i c u unit had gone is this possible

Cannot fathom what an icu has to do with brakes. Hydraulics control braking effort and effectiveness. Car should stop unless you are lacking brake fluid or have issues with master cylinder. Computer gets involved when you have anti lock brakes, etc.

2002 Chevrolet Malibu oil light on & valves clattering

Check the oil level on the dip stick and make it correct. This engine should have a low oil shut down feature. Possible oil pump failure. With oil at correct level, restart engine. If the oil light does not go out with engine running, shut down immediately. Severe Internal rotating component bearing damage has already occurred. look for loose oil filter or hole in oil pan.

Dies while decellerating

Check your oil. It is possible that your car has a low oil pressure shutoff and when cresting the top of the hill, the oil goes to the back of the oil pan, telling the sensor it has no oil and shutting down the car before any damage occurs.

Check engine, battery, oil lights are on?

The Check Engine tells you that something is wrong about your ride. Get your ride check for error code and take necessary steps to resolve the issue. Also you can post the error codes so that we can help you to solve the issue. Battery light lit means that your battery needs to be charged or the electrolyte in the battery is low. Also it can be possible that the battery needs replacement. Last the oil light alerts you to change the engine oil. The engine oil prevents the engine components from wearing due to friction and suppresses the heat generation keeping the metal parts in proper working condition.

Does the 2000 dodge stratus has an automatic shut down relay that triggers when the oil pressure is to low?

The CPU has read low oil pressure and has shut down the system to protect the engine which it has done. However it cannot tell when you add oil so to get it to change you will have to reset the CPU.. Possible removing the battery lead for 5-10 minutes will reset or have a code reader instrument reset it.

It's possible but unlikely. Still sounds like your battery is shot, and if so, jumping it may not work. First I would take it out and get it tested. If OK, your next step would be to check error codes (DTCs) with a code reader to see what's going on.

Battery Light

I would start with checking all your wiring coming from your battery. Corrosion can get into the wiring and restrict the current and cause all sorts of bad things to happen. The battery light is supposed to come on when the voltage drops past a certain point, it might be possible that your alt is going bad. These are a just a couple of possibles to start with.

Good luck
